Cathedral Church of St. John The Divine

A record-breaker.
Seat of the Archbishop of New York, the Saint-John the Divine Cathedral is the construction that beat all records… The construction was extensive, starting tin 1892 and as of yet incomplete. It is the largest cathedral in the world, and its rose window is made up of over 10 000 pieces of stained glass.
The scale of the nave itself defies the imagination, so take the time to admire this part of the edifice which can accommodate two full-scale football fields… The cathedral also boasts a Biblical botany section where they garden a number of plant varieties mentioned in the bible, and also hosts exhibitions, concerts and poetry readings.
