Carnegie Hall is one of New York's mythical concert halls, considered among the most prestigious venues in the entire country. It is open to all music styles and has helped launch more than a few careers.
The venue is in fact made up of three auditoriums: the Main Hall, the Recital Hall, and the Chamber Music Hall. Designed by architect William Burnet Tuthill, it was inaugurated on May 5th 1892 with a representation of Tchaïkovsky.
